We’re thrilled to announce our new Director of Partnerships, Jake Hirsch-Allen!
Jake brings a wealth of experience building public-private partnerships in workforce development, inclusive technology, ethical data, responsible AI, and skills.
Jake lead LinkedIn Learning’s work with Canada’s higher education institutions and worked with post secondary institutions across North America on behalf of LinkedIn. He advises impact investors, public sector leaders and start-ups, including on responsible tech and AI governance. He co-founded Lighthouse Labs and has acted as a director on many boards. A former intellectual property and international criminal lawyer, Jake was also chair of the Technology Committee of the Global Education Platform, taught Global Health at McMaster University and clerked at the Supreme Court of Israel.
Most importantly, Jake is deeply committed to the Dais mission—and as a Senior Fellow, he’s already made meaningful contributions to our work.
In this critical moment for Canada, Jake is hitting the ground running to grow partnerships across our key areas of focus: AI and the innovation economy, kids and technology, and renewing democracy.
